At Life Your Way, we are committed to providing comprehensive support to our clients, not only during face-to-face interactions but also through the essential work we do behind the scenes. Non face-to-face activities play a critical role in ensuring that the services you receive are well-coordinated, personalised, and effective. Below, we explain what non face-to-face costs are, the types of activities they cover, and how these charges will be billed.
What Are Non Face-to-Face Costs
Non face-to-face costs refer to the time and effort our team spends on activities that support your care but do not involve direct, in-person interaction. These activities are vital for delivering high-quality, individualised support and may include tasks such as –
Preparing Reports:
Developing detailed reports for your NDIS plan reviews, progress updates, and assessments.
Coordination with Other Providers:
Communicating and collaborating with other service providers, healthcare professionals, and support networks involved in your care.
Scheduling and Planning:
Organising your support schedule, booking appointments, and making arrangements for upcoming activities.
Email and Phone Communication:
Responding to your queries, discussing your care needs, and providing advice or guidance through email or phone calls.
Documenting and Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of your care and progress to ensure continuity and quality of support.
How We Charge for Non Face-to-Face Services
The NDIS allows service providers to claim for non face-to-face services under specific conditions, ensuring that the time spent on these essential activities is recognised and compensated. Here’s how Life Your Way handles these charges:
Applicable Services
We only charge for non face-to-face activities that are directly related to the planning, delivery, and coordination of your support services. These activities must be necessary for the effective provision of your care
Billing Rates
Non face-to-face services are billed at the same hourly rate as the face-to-face support you receive. These rates are in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits
Transparency
Before we undertake any non face-to-face activities that will incur charges, we will discuss and agree on these with you during your initial service agreement and as part of ongoing reviews. We believe in full transparency, so you’ll always know what services you’re being billed for and why
Detailed Invoicing
When we bill for non face-to-face services, your invoice will include a clear breakdown of the associated costs. This way, you can easily track how your funds are being used and ensure that they align with your NDIS plan.
Non face-to-face activities are crucial for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of your support. They allow us to tailor our services to your specific needs, coordinate with other providers, and ensure that every aspect of your care is considered and managed efficiently. Charging for these activities ensures that our team can dedicate the necessary time and resources to deliver the best possible care to you.
